HIKING - SES SALINES

A walk through the impressive nature reserve and the salt flats near Salinas beach. We will reach the original pirate watchtower and find secluded coves and fishermen's huts.

We will take you from Salinas beach to the salt pans along ancient trails. You will learn about the important history of salt production and how it changed Ibiza.

We may get lucky and see some flamingos as we head towards Cap des Falco before returning to nature on ancient paths through a pine forest, from a lesser known hidden valley. A very interesting and beautiful walk.

TIP

Do not forget to visit the art exhibition of La Nave at the end of the walk.

HIKING - COSTA DE CRISTAL

This is a nice walk along the rugged coastline, passing by the highest lighthouse of the Balearic Islands, to discover a special area where we can find quartz crystals from Ibiza.

We will leave the last small beach at the end of Portinatx and continue along the rugged coastline to the only area of Ibiza where real quartz crystals can be found. We will pass the northernmost beach of the island where you can find fossils millions of years old, as well as experience the crystal clear waters of Ibiza.

We will follow the coast (where on a clear day you can see as far as Mallorca), passing secret coves and rock formations, and ending at a secret swimming beach. We will then meander through the forest, passing ancient terraces with carob, fig and orange trees, before returning to Portinatx.

A great summer morning walk that includes a stop for a swim before the tourists arrive. The best way to start the day.

HIKING - PUERTAS DEL CIELO

There are some walks that are requested time and time again, and this is one of them. A gentle stroll through the countryside, heading into the cool woods before emerging on a promontory with an incredible viewpoint with views both north and south of the coast.

Leaving the quiet village of Santa Agnes, we leave the church behind and soon enter the countryside. Following the paths originally used by the men who made lime, we can discover some of their old lime kilns that are still surprisingly intact.

We will continue winding through deep pine-scented woods, searching for herbs, rosemary, thyme and lavender, before emerging on a promontory with an incredible viewpoint looking both north and south along the coast. From this 300-meter high lookout, with the azure blue sea beneath our feet, we can see the tip of Es Vedra and, on a clear day, even the peninsula. You may be lucky and see dolphins from here.
